Two-Day “Gyan Kunj” Workshop by Bharat Vikas Parishad Mumbai Konkan Prant Concludes with Spiritual and National Inspiration

Igatpuri, Maharashtra: The serene surroundings of Relax Adventure Resort in Igatpuri became a vibrant hub of learning, inspiration, and spiritual awakening as Bharat Vikas Parishad, Mumbai Konkan Prant, successfully concluded its two-day flagship training workshop “Gyan Kunj” on 13th and 14th June.

More than 200 newly appointed office-bearers from 27 branches across the Prant actively participated in this enriching programme. The workshop was designed to deepen their understanding of the Parishad’s noble objectives, working methodology, organisational structure, and its vast network of service activities.

In a deeply inspiring address, Shri Sunil Khera, National General Secretary of Bharat Vikas Parishad, illuminated the profound essence of the organisation’s name. He beautifully explained the literal and deeper spiritual meanings of ‘Bharat’, ‘Vikas’, and ‘Parishad’, urging participants to internalise these values. He especially emphasised the organisation’s core mantra — “Sampark, Sahyog, Sanskar, Seva, and Samarpan” (Contact, Cooperation, Moral Values, Service, and Dedication) — encouraging everyone to embody these principles in their personal and organisational lives.

The workshop witnessed illuminating sessions led by several distinguished National and Regional office-bearers, including:

  • National Office Bearers: Shri Sampat Khurdia, Rajendra Inani, Dharmendra Modi, and Rakesh Patel
  • Regional President: L. R. Jaju
  • Regional Joint Secretary: Mahesh Sharma
  • Other senior leaders: R. C. Jain, Ravi Prakash, Kirti Samudra
  • Prant President: Avinash Dharmadhikari
  • Prant General Secretary: C.A. Simant Pradhan
  • Finance General Secretary: Abhijit Marathe

These respected leaders shared valuable insights and practical guidance on organisational expansion, effective functioning, and strengthening the spirit of selfless service.

The entire event was meticulously planned and executed under the able convenership of Abhinav Khurdia, supported by a committed team of volunteers including Sachin Jain, Kripashankar Chaubey, Omprakash Prajapati, Sanjay Bothara, Padmaja Kulkarni, Prajakta, Yatish Gujrathi, Vikas Agrawal, Hetal Desai, Shakendra Chhajed, Narendra Singh Baba, and Kiran Kumawat. Their tireless efforts created a spiritually uplifting and well-organised atmosphere.

C.A. Simant Pradhan, Prant General Secretary, gracefully conducted the stage proceedings and delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks.

The “Gyan Kunj” workshop not only equipped the new office-bearers with essential organisational knowledge but also kindled in them renewed energy, moral strength, and dedication towards nation-building, value-based living, and selfless service — core ideals that lie at the heart of Bharat Vikas Parishad’s mission.

This successful initiative is expected to significantly strengthen the grassroots functioning of the Parishad across the Mumbai Konkan region, carrying forward the timeless Indian ethos of spiritual growth through service to society and the nation.
