Ghaziabad, April 14, 2025 – A vibrant celebration of India’s ancient and modern contributions to science unfolded at Janaki Bhawan, Kavinagar Ramleela Ground, Ghaziabad, through the event “Bharat and Its Scientific Glory.” Organized by Shri Vineet Vats Tyagi, National Office In-charge of BJP Yuva Morcha and founder of the Youth Unity Foundation, the program aimed to reconnect today’s youth with India’s profound scientific legacy.
The event was graced by Hon’ble Chief Guest Shri Tejasvi Surya, National President of BJP Yuva Morcha and MP from Bangalore South, with Shri Mayank Goyal, BJP Ghaziabad Metropolitan President, as the Special Guest. Supported by IIT Kanpur and the Brihat Research Foundation, the initiative highlighted the spiritual and intellectual depth of India’s scientific traditions.

Young scholars from states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh formed teams of 2-3 members, diving deep into fields such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, space science, architecture, and political science. Their research, submitted by April 3, was rigorously evaluated by a panel from IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, and other esteemed institutions. From numerous entries, 30 teams were selected to present their findings live in Ghaziabad.
The presentations captivated the audience and jury alike, blending India’s ancient wisdom with modern innovation. The winners were:
- First Prize (₹1,00,000): Saurabh More and Saurabh Patil (Maharashtra)
- Second Prize (₹51,000): Siddhi Avinash Deshmukh, Shridhar Rajshekhar, and Siddhant Sanjay Deshpande (Maharashtra)
- Third Prize (₹31,000): Mudit Vashisth and Sanya Vats (Uttar Pradesh)
Teams ranking 4th to 10th received ₹10,000 each, while those from 11th to 20th were awarded ₹5,000. Every participant was honored with a certificate, recognizing their dedication to reviving Bharat’s scientific spirit.
Shri Vineet Vats Tyagi emphasized that such initiatives not only honor India’s past but also inspire youth to weave spirituality and science into a brighter future. The event left attendees inspired, reaffirming Bharat’s timeless legacy as a beacon of knowledge and wisdom.
